Iran has a sum of 49/000/000 Mobile subscribers including private = First operators . The National fixed line penetration rate has reached to 34% and the Mobile subscribers to 47 percent. Over 253000 local and long distance telephone booths have been set up and working all over the country . An amount of 99000 data ports are available in Iran. 1102 cities in Iran are under coverage of the Mobile network .
