Opening of ITU TELECOM WORLD 2009
The grand opening of TELECOM 2009 began with a message from Nelson Mandela, the former president of South Africa , with the attendance of Ban Ki- Moon Secretary General of the UN and Hamadoun Touré ITU’s Secretary General. The main fact realized at this exhibition was presenting technical solutions and having less concentration on the technology itself, where a major presence for the developing countries and vice versa for the European countries could be demonstrated ,since they are facing economical crisis. There were two groups presenting The Islamic Republic Of Iran. The TCI Minister, after attending and having a speech at the Youth Forum 2009 mentioned Iran’s esteem in developing the internet at the universities.
